Breach of Contract Notice in Dubai
When the other side does not do what the contract says, the first step is a formal notice. We draft it and have it notarised and served.

- Home visitsYour home, office or meeting in Dubai
- 24/7Appointments any day, any time
Under the UAE Civil Transactions Law, Federal Decree-Law No. 25 of 2025, compensation is not due until the other party has been formally put in default, unless the law or the contract says otherwise (Article 337). And to ask a court to enforce or cancel a contract, you give the other party notice first (Article 234). A notarised notice is a clear, dated record that you did.
What the notice does
Puts the party in default
States the obligation, how it was broken, and what must now be done.
- The contract
- The clause that was broken
Fee Quoted per matter
Sets a deadline
Gives a clear date to perform or pay.
- The dates and amounts involved

Reserves your rights
Records that you may claim compensation or ask to end the contract if nothing is done.

Home or office visit
We come to your home, office or board meeting anywhere in Dubai. The government attendance fee is AED 1,000 per visit, not per signature.
How it works
- Send the contract and what went wrong. With dates, amounts and any messages.
- We draft the notice. In Arabic and English, with the demand and deadline.
- You sign and it is notarised. At our Business Bay office, online, or at your office.
- The notice is served. On the addresses in the contract.
- You keep the notice and the proof. For a court claim or a settlement if the other side does not act.
When a notice is not needed
The other party refused in writing. Article 338 says no notice is needed if they declared in writing that they will not perform.
Performance is now impossible. No notice is needed if their own act made performance impossible or pointless.
Your contract waives it. Contracts can set their own rules. Read the notice and termination clauses first.
Breach of contract notice cost
The government fee for a notarised notice is quoted at the current Dubai Courts rate when you ask. Our own fee is quoted in writing before work starts.
| Item | Fee |

| Drafting and service of the notice | Quoted per matter |
| Translation included in the instrument | AED 50 per page |
| Notary attending outside the office | AED 1,000 |

Breach of contract notice questions
Do I have to send a notice before suing?
For compensation or cancellation, usually yes under Articles 234 and 337 of the Civil Transactions Law, unless the law or your contract says otherwise.
Can the contract end automatically?
A contract can say it ends automatically on breach, but under Article 235 you still give notice unless the parties expressly waived it.
Is this legal advice?
No. We prepare and notarise the notice. For a claim in court, speak to a lawyer. We tell you at the start if you need one.
Can a company send a notice?
Yes. Bring the trade licence and proof that the signatory may act for the company.
How is the notice delivered?
It is served through a notary public on the addresses in the contract, and you keep the proof of service.

Excellent notary service. Everything was handled smoothly and professionally. They even agreed to schedule a call at a time that worked best for us, which was outside their usual practice, a real sign of their flexibility and client focus.
I am 100 percent satisfied with their true copy attestation, highly recommend.
I contacted this office for a notary today on Sunday. They processed my notary and I got my documents online the same day.
I needed a statutory declaration for New Zealand notarised. They did it for me online since I was based in Abu Dhabi. Thanks for your service.
Excellent service. They are an instant replying agency. Others take long hours to reply to simple questions. Highly recommended for notaries in Dubai.
