Notarising Documents for Use Outside the UAE
Documents notarised in Dubai for use in another country. Tell us the destination first and we draft to what that country expects.
In short
- In-house notary publicAt our Business Bay office
- Online appointmentsBy video call, verified with UAE PASS
- Home visitsYour home, office or meeting in Dubai
- 24/7Appointments any day, any time
A document for use abroad has to satisfy two people: the notary here and the authority that receives it there. We draft it with the destination in mind, complete the notarisation, and tell you what comes next. The UAE is not a party to the Apostille Convention, so documents usually go on to MOFAIC and the destination country’s embassy.

How it works
- Name the destination country. And send any form or template the receiving body gave you.
- We confirm the document and what follows. Including the steps after notarisation.
- We draft it in Arabic and English. Using the wording the destination expects where we can establish it.
- You sign. At our Business Bay office, online through UAE PASS, or at your home.
- You receive the notarised document. Registered with Dubai Courts, ready for the next step.
Three things to know
The destination decides the wording. Name the country before we draft.
Notarisation is usually the first step. MOFAIC attestation and the embassy step often follow. Ask the receiving body for the full sequence.
There is no apostille for UAE documents. The UAE is not an Apostille Convention party, so the legalisation chain applies.
Cost for documents going abroad
Government fees for the notarial act here. Later steps are charged by whoever performs them. Our own fee is quoted in writing.

Questions about documents for abroad
Is notarisation enough on its own?
Usually not. MOFAIC attestation and an embassy step often follow. The receiving body sets the sequence.
Can I get an apostille in the UAE?
No. The UAE is not a party to the Apostille Convention, so documents go through attestation and legalisation instead.
Does the document have to be in Arabic?
Documents notarised in Dubai are bilingual. Notarising a translation included in the instrument is AED 50 per page.
Can I do this without coming to the office?
Often yes, online through UAE PASS or with a home visit. Send the document first and we confirm.
Which countries do you handle most?
Statutory declarations for Canada, the UK, the US and Australia are routine, but we handle other countries too.

Had experience of getting some of my documents attested from the firm. Service was top notch. Mr. Ali explained everything in detail and was of great assistance. I would recommend the firm for any legal assistance or document attestation.
Highly recommended and excellent service. I had to do notarization for some documents and Miss Razan assisted us greatly with exceptional professionalism and courtesy.
Great and speedy service for getting the NOC to sponsor my child. Big thanks to Ali for handling everything smoothly and on time.
Excellent notary service. Everything was handled smoothly and professionally. They even agreed to schedule a call at a time that worked best for us, which was outside their usual practice, a real sign of their flexibility and client focus.
I am 100 percent satisfied with their true copy attestation, highly recommend.
I contacted this office for a notary today on Sunday. They processed my notary and I got my documents online the same day.
I needed a statutory declaration for New Zealand notarised. They did it for me online since I was based in Abu Dhabi. Thanks for your service.
Excellent service. They are an instant replying agency. Others take long hours to reply to simple questions. Highly recommended for notaries in Dubai.
