An affidavit is a statement of fact sworn before the notary. A declaration or undertaking is signed and acknowledged rather than sworn. Which one you need is decided by the person asking for it, so bring their written requirement and we draft the right document.

Online notary appointment
Meet the notary by secure video call, with your identity confirmed through UAE PASS. The document is issued electronically.
Home or office visit
We come to your home, office or board meeting anywhere in Dubai. The government attendance fee is AED 1,000 per visit, not per signature.
How it works
- Tell us who is asking, and for what. They decide if it is sworn or acknowledged.
- We confirm the document and the fee. In writing.
- We draft it in Arabic and English. Including any wording the receiving body requires.
- You read it and sign. At our Business Bay office, online through UAE PASS, or at your home.
- You receive the notarised document. Registered with Dubai Courts, with a verification barcode.
Get it right the first time
Bring their requirement. If an employer, court or embassy asked for this, they usually said what it must say.
Name the country first. A statutory declaration for Canada is worded differently from one for the UK.
Read every fact. Correcting a draft is free. Correcting a registered instrument is an AED 300 government fee.

Affidavit and declaration questions
What is the difference between an affidavit and a declaration?
An affidavit is sworn before the notary. A declaration or undertaking is acknowledged. The body asking for it decides which.
My employer abroad sent a template. Can you use it?
Yes, if the wording works under UAE notarial rules. If it does not, we tell you what has to change.
Can I do it online?
Most declarations and affidavits can be signed online, with your identity confirmed through UAE PASS.
What does an affidavit cost?
AED 300 to execute and notarise, plus AED 100 per party for electronic registration. Both are government fees.
Do you notarise child travel consent letters?
Yes. Bring the child’s passport and birth certificate, and check whether the airline or country needs both parents to sign.
