Private Notary Services in Dubai
Every notary public service we offer in person at our Business Bay office, online and on home visits, with what each one needs, what it costs, and where the fee comes from.
How we work
- Drafted for youBilingual Arabic and English drafts prepared in house
- Reviewed before signingWe read the document with you, not just witness it
- Three waysIn our office, at your location, or online through UAE PASS
- Issued by the courtsEvery document carries a Dubai Courts verification barcode
What we notarise, and what we do not
Our in-house notary public does notarial work: executing and notarising documents, certifying signatures, certifying true copies, and administering the declarations that go with them. Where a document needs drafting or legal translation first, that is part of the service rather than something you arrange elsewhere.
We do not litigate, and we do not act as your advocate in a dispute. If a matter needs representation rather than notarisation, we will say so at the first conversation rather than after you have paid.
Powers of attorney
The most common instrument we handle, and the one where the drafting decides whether it works. General, special, property, court and corporate powers of attorney, including documents intended for use outside the UAE.
- Original Emirates ID and passport for the grantor
- Passport copy of the person receiving the authority
- Title deed or contract reference for property matters
Fee AED 100 per party, set by Dubai Courts
Corporate and company documents
Memorandums of association, board resolutions, share transfers, minutes and legal notices, for mainland and free zone entities alike.
- Trade licence and memorandum of association
- Passport and Emirates ID of every signatory
- Evidence the signatory is authorised to sign for the company
Fee Depends on whether the document states a value
Certified true copies
Certification that a copy is a true copy of the original document presented to the notary. Personal, academic, banking and corporate documents.
- The original document. A copy cannot be certified from a copy
Fee AED 100 per party for electronic registration
Declarations and affidavits
Sworn or acknowledged statements of fact, used for visas, employment, courts, banks and government departments.
- Original Emirates ID and passport
- The facts you are declaring, in writing or in conversation
Fee Affidavits AED 300 on the federal schedule
Wills for non-Muslims
Wills for non-Muslim residents covering assets held in the UAE, prepared and notarised with the drafting reviewed rather than simply witnessed.
- Emirates ID and passport
- Details of the assets, the beneficiaries and the executor
Fee Quoted per matter
Documents for use abroad
Powers of attorney, declarations and certified copies intended for another country. Tell us the destination first, because the wording and the steps after notarisation depend on it.
- The receiving country and the authority that will accept it
Fee Quoted per matter

Drafting and translation are part of the service
Documents notarised in Dubai must be bilingual. That single requirement is where most notarial matters go wrong, because a translation produced by someone who has never handled a notarial instrument will be returned at the counter.
We prepare Dubai Courts approved drafts in Arabic and English, then read the document with you before you sign. Notarising a translation included in an instrument is charged at AED 50 per page on the federal schedule.
Legal notices
A formal notice, drafted in Arabic and English, notarised and served, so you hold proof of what was sent and when it arrived.
Notarised legal notice
A written demand to pay, perform, leave or stop, served through a notary public with proof of delivery.
12 month eviction notice
For landlords who want the property back at the end of the lease for sale, own use, demolition or major renovation.
Rent payment notice
The notice that gives a tenant 30 days to pay unpaid rent under Article 25 of Dubai’s rent law.
Breach of contract notice
Puts the other party formally in default before you claim compensation or ask to end the contract.
POA cancellation notice
Revoke a power of attorney and tell the agent in writing, so the authority really ends.
Family and property documents
Family status affidavits
Sworn statements on marital status, parentage and custody arrangements for non-Muslim residents, for embassies, schools and authorities.
Gift deed (hiba) of property
Gifting Dubai property to a parent, spouse or child: the Land Department step, the fee, and the power of attorney if someone signs for you.
Powers of attorney in detail
General power of attorney
Broad authority to act on your behalf across a class of matters. Convenient, and the type where granting more than you intended is the usual mistake.
Special power of attorney
Limited to one named task, such as a single property sale or one court matter. Narrower, and usually the safer instrument.
Property power of attorney
For buying, selling, leasing or managing real estate, including Dubai Land Department transactions. Needs the title deed or the contract reference.
Corporate power of attorney
For a company to authorise a representative to act for it. Needs the trade licence, the memorandum, and proof the signatory can bind the company.
Power of attorney for cases
Authorising legal representation in proceedings. The wording has to match what the court expects, which is narrower than most people assume.
Vehicles, travel and heirs
Powers of attorney for vehicles, for driving and travelling, and for the determination of heirs.
Getting the scope right
A power of attorney is not a formality. It is a transfer of authority, and the wording decides exactly how much you have handed over and for how long.
Too narrow and it fails at the counter. An agent authorised to “sell the property” may be turned away when the transaction also requires them to receive the proceeds, sign the transfer at the land department, or settle a service charge. Each of those is a separate act.
Too broad and you have given away more than you meant to. A general power of attorney drafted casually can authorise dealings you never contemplated, including on assets you did not have in mind when you signed.
The remedy is boring and effective. Tell us the task, not the document type. We will tell you which instrument fits, draft the scope to match, and read it back to you before you sign. That conversation costs nothing and it is the part of this service that actually protects you.
Corporate and company documents
Memorandum of association
Incorporation documents and their addenda, for mainland entities including full foreign ownership structures, and for free zone companies.
Board resolutions
Resolutions authorising a transaction, an appointment, a bank mandate or a filing.
Share transfers
Share sale contracts, share waiver contracts, amendments and appendices, and termination of partnership.
Minutes of meetings
Minutes of a general assembly, and minutes of the dissolution and liquidation of a company.
Legal and eviction notices
Formal notices to a counterparty, a tenant or a landlord, executed so they carry weight.
Local service agent contracts
Local service agent contracts and their termination.

Corporate signings, on your schedule
Company matters rarely have one signatory in one place. We attend board meetings, offices and free zone premises so the people who need to sign can sign together, and we prepare the bilingual draft in advance so the meeting is a signature rather than a negotiation.
Bring the trade licence, the memorandum of association, identification for every signatory, and evidence that the person signing is authorised to bind the company. Missing that last item is the single most common reason a corporate signing has to be rescheduled.
Fee AED 1,000 for attendance outside the office, set by Dubai Courts
Personal and family documents
Declarations and undertakings
Statements of fact for a visa, an employer, a bank or a government department.
No objection letters
NOC letters, including sponsorship and consent to travel, prepared to the wording the receiving authority expects.
Child travel consent
Consent for a child to travel with one parent or a guardian, which is among the most requested documents in this market.
Endorsement of signature
Verification and endorsement of a signature on a document you already hold.
Acknowledgements
Acknowledgement of residence, acknowledgement of waiver of a case, and similar recorded statements.
Statutory declarations
Statutory declarations for use in Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States and Australia, among others.

What a certified true copy is, and is not
A certified true copy is the notary’s certification that the copy in front of them matches an original that was also in front of them. That is the whole of it, and the limits matter.
The original has to be present. A copy cannot be certified from another copy, from a photograph, or from a scan you email. This is the reason most true copy appointments fail, and it is avoidable.
It certifies the copy, not the contents. Certifying a degree certificate says the copy matches the certificate. It says nothing about whether the degree was awarded, which is what attestation by the issuing authority and the relevant embassy establishes.
For use abroad it is usually a first step, not the last one. Tell us the destination country before we start, because what follows notarisation differs by country and by receiving authority.
Declarations, undertakings and affidavits
An affidavit is a statement of fact sworn before the notary. A declaration or undertaking is acknowledged rather than sworn. Which one you need is set by whoever is asking for it, so bring their requirement if you have it in writing.
Executing and notarising an affidavit is AED 300 on the federal schedule. Establishing the date of a non official document is AED 200. Both are government fees rather than our charges.
Wills for non-Muslim residents
Non-Muslim residents of the UAE can have a will prepared and notarised covering assets held here. It is a document whose consequences appear only when it is relied on, which is a reason to have the drafting reviewed rather than filled into a template.
Bring your Emirates ID and passport, details of the assets the will covers, and the details of the beneficiaries and the executor you intend to appoint.

How each service runs
- Tell us the task. Not the document name, the outcome you need. The right instrument follows from that, and it is often not the one people ask for.
- We confirm requirements and cost. What you must bring, what the government fee will be, and what we charge, in writing, before any work starts.
- We draft and translate. A Dubai Courts approved bilingual draft, reviewed with you before signature.
- Identity verification and signing. In our office, at your location, or by secure video call through the official E-Notary portal using UAE PASS.
- Issue. Dubai Courts releases the notarised document electronically with a verification barcode, delivered to you by secure link.

Questions about our services
Which service do I actually need?
Tell us the outcome rather than the document name. People routinely ask for a general power of attorney when a special one is safer, or for an affidavit when a declaration is what the receiving party wants. Describe the task and we will tell you which instrument fits.
Can you draft the document, or do I have to bring one?
We draft. Documents notarised in Dubai must be bilingual, and preparing the Arabic and English draft is part of the service rather than something you arrange separately.
Do you notarise a document I have already had translated?
Yes, though we will read the translation first. A translation that is wrong in Arabic is a problem discovered at the counter, and notarising a translation included in an instrument is charged at AED 50 per page in any case.
Can all the signatories sign at different times?
That depends on the instrument. Some documents require the parties to sign together in front of the notary, others do not. Tell us who has to sign and where they are, and we will tell you what is possible.
Do you handle documents for a company I own abroad?
Often yes, but the answer depends on the document and the destination. Bring the corporate documents and the requirement from the receiving authority and we will tell you plainly.
What happens if my document is rejected?
Tell us who rejected it and why. If the fault is in the drafting we correct it. An application to correct incorrect data in an instrument is AED 300 on the federal schedule.

Excellent notary service. Everything was handled smoothly and professionally. They even agreed to schedule a call at a time that worked best for us, which was outside their usual practice, a real sign of their flexibility and client focus.
I am 100 percent satisfied with their true copy attestation, highly recommend.
I contacted this office for a notary today on Sunday. They processed my notary and I got my documents online the same day.
I needed a statutory declaration for New Zealand notarised. They did it for me online since I was based in Abu Dhabi. Thanks for your service.
