The notary
We have an in-house notary public at our Business Bay office, and we offer online notary appointments and home visits across Dubai, 24/7 by appointment. We prepare your document in Arabic and English, verify your identity, and complete the notarisation with you. Every document is registered in the Dubai Courts system and issued with a verification barcode.
Being a private notary is not a clerical role. The act carries the same legal effect as one performed at a public notary counter, and the person performing it is accountable for having identified the parties, read the instrument, and satisfied himself that what is being signed is what the parties intend. That is why the drafting happens here rather than being handed to a translation office, and why documents are read back before signature rather than pushed across a desk.
What a private notary does
Notarial acts, not general legal work. A private notary executes and notarises instruments, certifies signatures, certifies true copies and administers declarations. Representation in a dispute is different work and needs a different engagement.
The acts have full legal effect. A document notarised by a licensed private notary is registered by Dubai Courts and accepted by the same government departments, courts, banks and free zone authorities that accept any notarised document in the Emirate.
Every act is on the record. The document carries a Dubai Courts verification barcode, and anyone who receives it can check it against the Dubai Courts system rather than taking a signature on trust.
The fees are prescribed, not negotiated. Dubai Courts Decision No. 312 of 2025 sets what a private notary charges for the act. Our own professional fee for drafting, translation and attendance is separate, and it is quoted before work starts.

Drafting and translation happen here
Documents notarised in Dubai have to be bilingual. Most practices treat that as a procurement problem and send the text to a translation office. We treat it as part of the notarial work, because a translation produced by someone who has never handled a notarial instrument is the single most common reason a document is returned at the counter.
Drafts are prepared in Arabic and English to the form Dubai Courts accepts, then read with you before you sign. If the Arabic and the English do not say the same thing, that is caught here rather than by the authority you gave the document to.
What we do differently
We ask what the task is
Not what document you want. People routinely request a general power of attorney when a special one is safer, or an affidavit when an acknowledgement is what the receiving party will accept. The instrument follows from the task.
We quote before we start
The government fee and our professional fee, separately, in writing. Not after the drafting, and not at the counter once you have already taken the morning off.
We publish the fee schedule
The whole Dubai Courts and federal schedule is on this site, with the instrument, the gazette issue and the date each figure comes from. Almost nobody in this market does that.
We read the document with you
Before signature, out loud where it matters. A notarial act is not a rubber stamp and a signature obtained from someone who did not follow the document is a weak signature.
We come to you when it helps
Board meetings, offices, homes. Attendance outside the office is a prescribed government fee of AED 1,000, and it is a single fee for the attendance rather than a charge per signature.
We say no when it is not our work
If a matter needs representation in a dispute rather than a notarial act, we say so at the first conversation rather than after you have paid for something that will not help.
- You describe the task. Or send the document. The document matters more than the description, because the fee and the instrument both depend on what it says.
- We confirm the requirements and the cost. What you must bring, the government fee, and our fee. In writing, before work begins.
- We prepare the bilingual draft. Arabic and English, in the form Dubai Courts accepts, reviewed with you.
- Identity is verified and the document signed. In the office, at your location, or by secure video call through UAE PASS.
- Dubai Courts issues the document. Electronically, with a verification barcode, delivered to you by secure link.
Identity, every time
Original Emirates ID and original passport. There is no route around this, and any service offering one is not performing a notarial act.
One appointment
We tell you exactly what to bring for your matter, so a second trip is not needed.
Plain answers about cost
The prescribed fee is public. If a quote cannot be split into government fee and professional fee, something is being hidden.
Nothing invented
Where we do not know something, we say so and find out. That applies to fees, to procedure and to what another country will accept.
Corrections are ours
If a document has to be corrected because we drafted it wrong, that is on us.
Records kept properly
Notarial acts are matters of record, and they are treated that way here.
What we will not do
We will not notarise a document we have not read. That is not a service, it is a liability with a stamp on it.
We will not verify identity from a photograph. Identity is established in person or through UAE PASS. Every time, with no exceptions offered.
We will not certify a copy without the original. A copy cannot be certified from a copy, a scan or a photograph. It is the most common request we refuse, and refusing it is the point of the certificate.
We will not guess what another country will accept. We will tell you what the document needs from us. What the receiving authority requires beyond that comes from them or from the relevant embassy, not from us.
We will not quote a number we cannot stand behind. If the fee depends on something we have not seen, we say what it depends on rather than giving you a figure that will change.

Questions about the practice
Is this the same as a public notary?
The legal effect is the same. A private notary is licensed by Dubai Courts under Law No. 26 of 2021 and the document is registered in the same system. The difference is service: drafting and translation prepared here, home and office visits, online appointments, and appointments 24/7.
Can you represent me in court?
No. This is a notary practice. If your matter needs representation in a dispute we will say so at the first conversation rather than take the work.
What languages do you work in?
Arabic and English. Documents notarised in Dubai are bilingual, and the drafting is done in house rather than sent out.
How do I check a document you issued is genuine?
Every document carries a Dubai Courts verification barcode and can be checked against the Dubai Courts system. If you are on the receiving end of a notarised document from anyone, check the barcode rather than the signature.
Do you handle documents for use outside the UAE?
Yes, routinely, including statutory declarations for Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States and Australia. Tell us the destination country before we draft, because the wording depends on it.
Where are your fees from?
Dubai Courts Decision No. 312 of 2025, published in the Official Gazette of the Government of Dubai, Issue No. 752, in force from 2 January 2026, and the federal schedule in Cabinet Resolution No. 19 of 2024. Both are set out on the fees page with the item each figure comes from.
Do you charge for an initial conversation?
No. Identifying the right instrument and telling you what to bring is how you avoid paying for the wrong document.

Had experience of getting some of my documents attested from the firm. Service was top notch. Mr. Ali explained everything in detail and was of great assistance. I would recommend the firm for any legal assistance or document attestation.
Highly recommended and excellent service. I had to do notarization for some documents and Miss Razan assisted us greatly with exceptional professionalism and courtesy.
Great and speedy service for getting the NOC to sponsor my child. Big thanks to Ali for handling everything smoothly and on time.
Excellent notary service. Everything was handled smoothly and professionally. They even agreed to schedule a call at a time that worked best for us, which was outside their usual practice, a real sign of their flexibility and client focus.
I am 100 percent satisfied with their true copy attestation, highly recommend.
I contacted this office for a notary today on Sunday. They processed my notary and I got my documents online the same day.
I needed a statutory declaration for New Zealand notarised. They did it for me online since I was based in Abu Dhabi. Thanks for your service.
Excellent service. They are an instant replying agency. Others take long hours to reply to simple questions. Highly recommended for notaries in Dubai.
Lovely staff, professional work, good knowledge. Highly recommended.
