Certified True Copies in Dubai

Bring the original and our in-house notary public certifies that your copy matches it. Short appointments at our Business Bay office, or we come to you.

Who is the document for?

We notarise documents for individuals and for companies. The requirements differ, so this is the first thing we need to know.

How would you like it done?

Not every document can be notarised remotely. We will tell you plainly if yours cannot.

When do you need it?

An honest answer here helps. We will tell you if a deadline is not achievable rather than after you have booked.

Where should we send the answer?

You will get the instrument you need, what to bring, and the government fee. No charge for that.

No charge for the conversation. Please do not send identity documents here.

In short

  • In-house notary publicAt our Business Bay office

  • 24/7Appointments any day, any time

A certified true copy is the notary’s statement that a copy matches the original shown at the appointment. It does not confirm that what the document says is true. That is why the original must be present: a copy cannot be certified from a scan, a photo or another copy.

In person, online or at your home

In person at our Business Bay office

Meet our in-house notary public at Business Hub, Marasi Drive. Bring your originals and the document is signed and sealed in one visit.

Home or office visit

We come to your home, office or board meeting anywhere in Dubai. The government attendance fee is AED 1,000 per visit, not per signature.

Online is not possible for this one

Certifying a copy means the notary compares it with the original in the same room, so it cannot be done by video call. Choose an office appointment or a home visit instead.

How it works

  1. Call or message first. We confirm the document and what to bring.
  2. Bring the original and your ID. To our Business Bay office, or we come to you.
  3. The notary compares and certifies. The original stays with you.
  4. You receive the certified copy. Registered with Dubai Courts, with a verification barcode.

Before you come

Bring the original. Most repeat visits happen because only a copy was brought.

Count your copies. Each certified copy is its own act. If three offices each want one, ask for three.

Certification is not attestation. Certification says the copy matches. Attestation by an issuing body, MOFAIC or an embassy says the document is genuine. A degree going abroad often needs both.

Certified true copy cost

Government fees, from Dubai Courts Decision No. 312 of 2025 and the federal schedule. Our own fee is quoted in writing before work starts.

Certified true copy questions

Can you certify from a scan or a photo?

No. The notary certifies that the copy matches an original that was present. Without the original there is nothing to compare.

Does it prove my degree is real?

No. It proves the copy matches the certificate. Whether the degree is genuine is confirmed by attestation from the issuing body and, where needed, MOFAIC and the embassy.

Can it be done online?

No. The original must be in the room. We can come to your home or office instead.

Do you keep my original?

No. It is compared in front of you and stays with you.

How many copies can I have certified?

As many as you need. Tell us the number at the appointment.
